Integra has an enduring tradition of giving back. In 2014, Integra donated products, valued at more than $60 million, to surgical missions and educational efforts. The Integra Foundation made grants totaling almost $400,000 in support of charitable, research and educational programs.
At Integra we encourage all our people to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work and to extend their caring to meaningful causes across the globe. Each year we offer our people paid time off to volunteer as part of the Company's global service project.
Here is just a snapshot of some of the meaningful ways our people are making a difference around the globe.
As part of Integra's strong commitment to diversity, we formed the company's first global affinity group - the Women at Integra Network. Our shared vision is for WIN to connect Women across Integra, build a network for sharing ideas and experiences and empower women to succeed.
Each year Integra employees worldwide take a day to volunteer as part of our Global Service Day project. Last year our people joined together to paint murals in urban locations, revitalize parks, built a playground and revitalized an urban school.
Integra sponsors Miles for Isles to support healthy and sustainable local communities. Isles is a local not-for-profit organization whose mission is fostering self-reliant families and healthy, sustainable communities.
Together we made a difference in the health of children across the globe. Employees raised more than $25,000 for Healing the Children® and Wounded Warriors Project by making a $20 donation and getting to wear jeans to work for a month.
Paddle for Pink is New Jersey's largest Dragon Boat Festival. Integra employees competed against 41 other community teams to win the GOLD for the 2nd year at the Paddle for Pink Dragon Boat Racing Competition Fundraiser for Breast Cancer. The festival benefits local families affected by breast cancer, and the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Princeton.
Each year several hundred employees from our New Jersey locations work together on a single community initiative. During the last two years, employees revitalized two schools in New Jersey by building, planting, cleaning, painting, creating murals and teaching.
In 2015, we sponsored the first Integra Walk to End Children's Brain Tumors in 2015 in support of the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation.
Integra colleagues join the fight against diabetes by raising money for research and advocacy at the American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk.
